Association (eMA) is the world’s largest international
association of emarketing professionals. Members include governments,
companies, professionals and students involved with the emarketing
arena. The eMA provides marketing resources, services, research,
certifications, educational programs and events to its members
and the marketing community.
SEMPO is a non-profit professional association working to increase awareness
and promote the value of Search Engine Marketing worldwide. Better Business
Bureau (BBB)
The Council of Better Business Bureau’s
(CBBB) mission is to promote and foster the highest ethical relationship
between businesses and the public through voluntary self-regulation,
consumer and business education, and service excellence. It
is dedicated to fostering fair and honest relationships between
businesses and consumers, instilling consumer confidence and
contributing to an ethical business environment.
The Greater Richmond Technology Council is a member-driven association
of businesses and organizations working together to ensure the continued
growth of Central Virginia's dynamic technology-based economy. The Council
includes both Technology and Associate members dedicated to the development
of an infrastructure that supports the growth of existing technology industries
and identifies the Greater Richmond region as a location of choice for
new and emerging technology companies.
Founded in 1867, the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce now has over
2,000 member businesses. As the Richmond, Virginia, area grows and prospers,
so grows the impact and involvement of the Greater Richmond Chamber of
Commerce. The Chamber's involvement in and support of a myriad of programs,
initiatives, issues and organizations is helping to bring economic success
and an enhanced quality of life to the Greater Richmond region.
National Association
of Women Business Owners (NAWBO)
The National Association of Women Business Owners
(NAWBO) propels women entrepreneurs into economic, social, and political
spheres of power worldwide. NAWBO is the only dues-based national organization
representing the interests of all women entrepreneurs in all industries.
The STC is a professional membership organization
dedicated to advancing the arts and sciences of technical communication.
Its 25,000 members include technical writers and editors, content
developers, documentation specialists, technical illustrators,
instructional designers, academics, information architects, usability
and human factors professionals, visual designers, Web designers
and developers, and translators—anyone whose work makes
technical information available to those who need it.
