CTR is an acronym for click-through
rate or click-thru rate. CTR is the percentage of
those who actually click on an online ad or link in relation
to the total number who actually see the link. For example,
imagine 100 people do a web search. In response, they
see links to several web pages. 10 of the 100 people
all choose a particular link. The click-thru rate of
that ad or link is 10/100, or 10%.
